CLUB STATEMENT - LUTON GAME
Hayes & Yeading United Football Club would like to thank the police for their hard work in ensuring the safety of all supporters at last Saturday’s match against Luton Town FC. The club are more than satisfied with the crowd control measures employed by the police both inside and outside of the ground and would like to stress that these special measures were designed to ensure the safety of all supporters amidst the provocation of a minority of visitors to the ground. The operation proved successful in achieving this and the club are grateful for the co-operation of all supporters despite any inconvenience it may have caused.
Hayes & Yeading United Football Club would also like to highly commend the work of the volunteer stewards who played their significant part in maintaining crowd safety and very much appreciate the work each individual does in this role. As a club, we look forward to future co-operative work between us, our volunteer stewards and the police for fixtures when larger than usual crowds are present. Nick Bell - Press Officer.

LUTON AT CHURCH ROAD
It has been confirmed by the Club today that people who have not been able to get to either ground to purchase tickets will be allowed to "pay on the day" for tomorrows game against Luton Town.
Apologies for the late information but I could not post anything until it was officially confirmed and agreed with the Police.
Although entry will be quicker than normal, so will the amount of people visiting, therefore you are advised to get to the ground in plenty of time, even those who already have pre-purchased tickets. (05/03/10) |

POTENTIAL NEW DATES
Subject to Conference agreement, the following fixture changes have been proposed.
With the demise of Chester and Stevenage being in the FA Trophy, both United and Grays find themselves without a game on Saturday 13th March so it is planned that we will now travel to the New Rec that day. Again subject to approval, our Easter Saturday home game with Oxford may move forwards 24 hours to Good Friday, kick off to remain at 3pm. (27/02/10) |
